Paramedic Services Week 2026 – Celebrating Dedication, Compassion, and Care
(May 19, 2026) – Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS) is proud to recognize Paramedic Services Week and celebrate our dedicated employees who work around the clock providing exception care in our communities.
Whether it’s responding to emergencies, supporting community care initiatives, or assisting patients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives, working together is the foundation of everything we do.
“Paramedic Services Week is an opportunity to recognize the remarkable commitment of our paramedics, and all our employees, and the vital role they play in keeping our communities safe,” said Adam Bennett, Director of Paramedic Services at MLPS. “Their expertise, compassion, and professionalism make a difference in the lives of residents across Middlesex County and the City of London every single day.”
MLPS paramedics respond to thousands of calls each year, providing life-saving interventions, urgent medical care, and community-based support programs designed to improve patient outcomes and reduce pressures on the healthcare system.
As well as frontline emergency response, MLPS continues to expand its role in community paramedicine, supporting vulnerable populations, promoting health education, and helping patients access the care they need in the setting that works best for them.
“We are proud of the dedication our paramedics show during emergencies and every other interaction they have with the people they serve,” says Brian Ropp, Chair of the MLPS Authority Board. “Everyday, they provide compassionate, patient-centred care that reflects the trust that our residents place in them.”
