Middlesex-London Paramedic Service (MLPS) is currently accepting applications from third- and fourthsemester
college students interested in joining our Paramedic Bridge Program.
Students will be placed with and work under the guidance of experienced paramedics at various station
locations. Throughout their placement, participants will receive ongoing feedback and opportunities for
continuing education to further develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence in the field.
Placements will take place from November 2026 through April 2027, in coordination with the students’
respective colleges. The selection process is competitive, and not all applicants will be offered a placement with
the Service. Placements are unpaid academic opportunities.
Participation in online training and Service training will also be provided as part of the program.
This opportunity provides valuable hands-on experience and is designed to support students as they transition
from academic studies to independent practice. Participation in the Paramedic Bridge Program does not
guarantee employment with MLPS following completion of the placement.

Applicants selected for consideration will be invited to participate in an interview. Successful applicants will
